Abstract

The success of learning activities in schools is not only determined by teachers mastering the subject matter, but also by the teacher's ability to manage the class optimally. This study was conducted to see how teachers view the importance of classroom skills in improving the quality of learning. The method used in writing this scientific paper uses a quantitative-descriptive research approach. By distributing questionnaires to teachers. The results of the study stated that most teachers view classroom management skills as very important in improving student learning outcomes. Optimal classroom management will affect the effectiveness of learning. However, many teachers stated that their challenge in managing the class was the lack of student attention in learning. Through training, teachers can have effective and innovative classroom management strategies that help them overcome classroom problems and manage student behavior better.
