Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between learning discipline and students’ learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject for third-grade students at SDN 009 Rengat. The background of this research arises from the low learning outcomes of students, which are suspected to be influenced by a lack of learning discipline, both at school and at home. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population of this research consists of all 29 third-grade students of SDN 009 Rengat in the 2024/2025
academic year, all of whom were taken as the research sample. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires to obtain data on learning discipline (variable X) and documentation of daily test scores to obtain data on learning outcomes (variable Y). The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the assistance of the SPSS program. The results of the study show a significant positive relationship between learning discipline and students’ learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient value of r = 0.884 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the higher the students’ learning discipline, the better their learning outcomes. Descriptively, most students demonstrated a moderate to high level of discipline, particularly in aspects such as punctuality, adherence to school rules, and responsibility in completing assignments. However, learning discipline at home still needs improvement due to the high influence of gadget use. Based on these results, it can be concluded that learning discipline plays an important role in improving students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. Therefore, teachers and parents are expected to collaborate in fostering and habituating disciplined learning attitudes in children from an early age.
