Abstract
Teaching knowledge to others is a crucial part of the educational process, contributing to improving the quality of individuals and society. This study aims to analyze the importance of teaching, its underlying principles, and its impact on students' cognitive development and character. The method used was library research, reviewing various articles from relevant educational and Islamic journals. The results of the study indicate that teaching knowledge serves not only as a transfer of knowledge but also as a process for shaping attitudes, values, and social skills. Furthermore, teaching effectiveness is greatly influenced by the methods used, the competence of the teacher, and the interaction between the teacher and students. From an Islamic educational perspective, teaching knowledge has the value of worship and is a continuous charity that provides ongoing benefits. Therefore, awareness and responsibility are required for each individual to not only acquire knowledge but also to practice and disseminate it wisely.
