HAK DAN KEWAJIBAN ISTRI BAGI WANITA KARIR DI DESA TAMBALANGAN KECAMATAN AMUNTAI TENGAH

Abstract

Career women are women who study and like one or several jobs that are based on certain abilities they have for the welfare of their lives. In marriage there are rights and obligations that must be carried out by husband and wife. The wife's rights are in the form of obtaining a dowry and sustenance while the obligation is to obey her husband, manage the house properly and respect the husband's family, complete the the lack of husband, keep self-respect and husband's property, follow the husband's residence, devote herself to the husband as in taking care of children, cover husband's disgrace. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. There are steps taken by researchers including observation techniques in the form of interviews. The purpose of this study is to find out how the rights and obligations of wives who work as career women in the Islamic view and how the views of the community in Tambalangan Village Amuntai Tengah District are related to the rights and obligations of wives who work as career women. From the research that has been conducted in Tambalangan Village, Amuntai Tengah District, there are several wives who can fulfill their obligations as wives and some whose obligations are not carried out perfectly.
