KONSEP KELUARGA SAKINAH MAWADDAH WARAHMAH DALAM PERNIKAHAN (STUDI PADA MASYARAKAT KECAMATAN AMUNTAI UTARA)

Abstract

Marriage is part of the Islamic religion which is the sunnah of Rasulullah SAW. who avoids marriage means he has left some of his religious teachings. Besides, also with marriage will avoid committing adultery. That's why Islam recommends getting married if you are able both physically and financially, it is obligatory to get married. In a marriage, of course, every couple wants a family that is sakinah mawaddah warahmah, therefore it is necessary to know the concept of becoming a family that is sakinah mawaddah warahmah, including strong faith, love and care for each other, carrying out each other's rights and obligations, being open to each other (honest), remind each other in kindness, take care of each other and accept each other's shortcomings. A sakinah family lives peacefully, safely and peacefully, mawaddah is a feeling of love in the family, and rahmah is mercy (compassion) that God gives in the form of a harmonious household. So it is beautiful that a household that is bestowed with sakinah mawaddah warahmah is filled with peace, love, harmony even though there are quarrels but they can be resolved properly.
