Abstract

The Muhkam Mutasyabih method provides a universal model of understanding, especially at this time when many messages tend to be hoaxes, how to discern them, through Muhkam and Mutasyabih, hoax messages can be minimized and eliminated. The purpose of this analysis is to find out wisdom from muhkam mutasyabih in understanding social messages. This research uses descriptive methods. Based on the results of the analysis, muhkam wisdom can provide clarity that strengthens words by separating true news from false news. Meanwhile mutasyabih wisdom has not been able to provide a strong explanation or is still doubtful, so that its interpretation requires two or more interpretations. In this way, to seek justification for understanding social messages, you can use the muhkam mutasyabih method according to the context of the message.
