Abstract

The rapid advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has significantly impacted various aspects of life, particularly in the field of education. While technology offers vast opportunities to enhance the quality of learning, it also presents challenges, especially for educators. In this context, the teaching profession faces the dual demand of mastering pedagogical skills and effectively utilizing technology in a responsible and ethical manner. The role of teacher ethics becomes increasingly important, as it serves as the foundation for managing the rapid changes brought by technological advancements. Teachers are expected to not only be proficient in technology as a tool for learning but also use it wisely to uphold the moral and professional standards of the teaching profession. This paper explores the ethical challenges faced by teachers in integrating ICT into education, highlighting the importance of teacher ethics in ensuring a responsible and balanced use of technology. It emphasizes the need for continuous professional development in ICT while adhering to ethical principles to foster a safe, quality, and meaningful learning environment for students in the digital age.
