Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT. Madubaru PG-PS Madukismo Yogyakarta. The background of this research is based on the importance of employee performance in supporting company productivity, as well as indications of issues related to promotion, reward distribution, and work environment conditions at the company. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through closed questionnaires distributed to 162 respondents, selected using purposive sampling from a total population of 270 permanent employees. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and tested using t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that work motivation and compensation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, each variable also has a significant positive impact. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing motivational factors and providing fair compensation to support optimal employee performance.
