Abstract

Christian religious education not only aims to transfer know ledge about religious doctrine, but also has a broader scope in individual formation. The main goal is to create a comprehensive balance between physical, mental, spiritual and social aspects in everyday life. By emphasizing Christian moral and ethical values, Christian religious education prepares individuals to face various situations in life with integrity and responsibility. Through qualitative methods, this research highlights the importance of Christian religious education in forming characters who are responsible and have good morals. Christian religious education teachers play an important role in this process. They are not only a source of knowledge, but also a moral and spiritual role model for students. By educating about Christian values ​​and providing spiritual guidance, Christian religious education teachers can help students understand and apply these principles in everyday life. The conclusion of this research is that Christian religious education is not only about religious knowledge, but also about character formation. It is a holistic process that helps individuals strengthen their moral, ethical, and spiritual skills. Thus, Christian religious education acts as a basis for individuals to live in accordance with Christian values, encouraging them to become individuals of character and committed to doing good in society.
