PERAN KODE ETIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN INTEGRITAS GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN

This study explores the crucial role of the teacher's code of ethics in enhancing the integrity of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers. The research emphasizes that Christian Education teachers are not only tasked with imparting knowledge but also with shaping the moral and spiritual character of their students in accordance with Christian values. The code of ethics serves as a guiding framework that helps teachers maintain consistency between their words, actions, and teachings, promoting professionalism and moral responsibility. Through the implementation of the code, CRE teachers are encouraged to uphold integrity, foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and contribute to the overall development of students’ character. The study concludes that the code of ethics plays an essential role in ensuring the professionalism and integrity of CRE teachers, which in turn supports the holistic development of students in both academic and moral aspects.
