TINJAUAN LITERATUR TENTANG PENGARUH KEBIASAAN MEMBACA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Reading habit is an important factor in improving learning outcomes of primary school students. This study aims to analyze the effect of reading habits on learning outcomes of primary school students through a systematic literature review approach. The method used was Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with PRISMA and Paper Classification Form (PCF) approaches, reviewing 15 relevant articles published between 2020-2025. The results showed that students with good reading habits have higher material comprehension, better critical thinking skills, and superior academic achievement compared to students with low reading habits. However, there are several factors that affect the effectiveness of reading habits, such as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, learning environment, and learning methods applied by teachers. The main obstacles found are the low access to interesting reading materials and the lack of parental involvement in building a reading culture. Therefore, strategies such as reading habituation in daily activities, increasing access to reading materials, and involving parents and teachers in fostering a culture of literacy are recommended solutions.
